T.L Oberheu

The Founder of Boxhead Books, T.L Oberheu was an avid reader and storyteller as a child. Growing up, he wanted to share his active imagination with the world, originally trying his hand at writing books, screenplays, and articles. With some minor success, Oberheu quickly discovered the unfortunate reality that many writers of all kinds are easy prey, with many people and companies profiting off the actual writer's hard work and inexperience. 

Wanting to do something about the predatory Vanity Press's and Hybrid Publishers, Oberheu opened Boxhead Books as a way of getting new and aspiring authors into the marketplace while being a Traditional Publishing House and not charging the writer to be published. As a micro press (for now) Oberheu has time to both work his career in education while also working on his own writing, and maintaining Boxhead Books as a company. His first book published through Boxhead was "The Shadow Dies Loudly: 27 Tales" a collection of short horror stories. 

T.L Oberheu has most recently released "The Shadow Weeps Alone: 27 More Tales" sometime in October 2023,  and is currently working on his first full-length novel
